I restored a '69 el Camino and '72 Lemans Sport including the engine in the '72. All that got farmed
out was the final prep and paint. With our Corvette, I change the oil, air filter and grease the two
fittings. Wouldn't even know where to start on the computerized stuff. I'm just as dumb as anyone
else with that stuff. Just because a person can't work on a car, doesn't mean that they can't enjoy
them.

In my beginnins as a auto technician in the early 80', carburators where on almost every cars and trucks, but I never fix one who had a problem only 1 week per month.

That could be true Hezzy.... I never had much luck with either but one big difference there is an explosive occurrence with a toilet won't leave you stranded on the side of the road....
some of my buddies that run methanol fueled super pro cars have carbs that are actually called - toilet bowls.

Neat that you mention that Doug. Did some checking and found several references. Here's a video that explains it quite well.
