We have no shop here in southern Ontario that are into modding the C8 including our former sponsor/shop in the western part of the GTA.

We in the GTA may need to ship or drive their C8s to Davenport.
I would have if I still had the SR one day when warranty is gone, or not. Lol..
It would be a great road trip in the C8.

I am going down to Edmonton for a vist and the TX service. Calgary is only another couple hundred km . Filled out their form to get some info on their Corsa package. Take a drive out and we could meet for a cup of Chai tea ........ lol.

Took a look and Davenport have a BBB A+ rating . Having said that after doing a bit of digging I came across the attached. Bear in mind it's from 2012 and the tone does improve the further down the comments you go . Was surprised to see this to be honest but have the feeling that the situation at their shop has changed quite dramatically based on every other review I could find on the internet. Almost without exception. For what it's worth...........

Calgary tuners: Davenport or Dale Adams

Hi all, Does anyone have experience with either of these tuners? In the spring I will likely be looking for a custom predator tune. Maybe looking at a cam install as well. I know Dale Adams has been around forever, not sure about Davenport. Thanks.

Now I know that a tune is a bit different but I would have no qualms about dealing with them.

The ZO6 has a beefier Transmission than the Stingray, stronger and 1 more clutch plate, bigger output shafts and some other things.

Now I know that a tune is a bit different but I would have no qualms about dealing with them.

The ZO6 has a beefier Transmission than the Stingray, stronger and 1 more clutch plate, bigger output shafts and some other things.

Put in a request for some info on an exhaust and cold air intake package installation with them yesterday afternoon and received a reply this morning. A good sign I would say . Replied asking if they would recommend a throttle body upgrade as well to go with that extra air volume and the cost if so .

Edit . Just got a reply regarding the throttle body recommendation I asked about , only took an hour or so and received this....

We tested some throttle bodies on the dyno. Cost vs gain isn’t justified. GM did a really good job with the LT2 components. We tested headers and high flow cats too, again the gains weren’t anywhere near enough to justify the cost of the components.

Can't ask for more than that. I thanked her for the honesty. She said to book about a month ahead so they can make sure they have the parts stocked. Will need the vehicle for two days. I will be scheduling this soon as the snow melts...
