I stumbled upon a Corvette Club site while looking for info about the C8.
Found this one: C8 INFO - Village Vettes Corvette Club
Its loaded with almost every detail about the C8. Videos, pictures, articles, reviews etc. Click on `C8` on main page and see for yourself.
The club is located at the Villagers retirement center in Florida and has a community of 60k and many Canadians live there.

Thanks for the lead. I thought I'd seen most everything on the C8 but their website has a few other interesting tidbits, such as (for example) how to hook up power to a portable radar detector, from the inside rearview mirror. And I'll add in my b'day wishes as well: hope your day goes well!
