Why so early Ben ? Still driving here in the Sub-Arctic......went about 60km this afternoon. Tires never came off the cold indication but didn't notice the difference.

I normally put it away November 1st, but I’m going to be travelling for three weeks starting this week. The weather was great so I washed and detailed and covered her up so as not have to rush last minute….
It’s a HTC and I love driving with top down. The weather is getting chilly so it’s not as fun to drive…. Ever since I installed the Soler, I love how it takes off and hearing the engine come to life…… best way to hear it is with the top down….it’s just me….

Just a little slow getting to this as we have a big ball game going on now. A transmission fluid change is going to be around the $1200 range. Don is suggesting to wait on buying the maintenance plan because the transmission fluid change isn't due until the third anniversary of the car, and if you wait until just before you can get two transmission fluid changes done (the second one at the 6th anniversary of the cars in service date) under the plan. The clock starts on the maintenance plan when you buy it, and for the first 2-3 years you can get your free services done, as your second DCT isn't due until 36,000 km. Brake fluid and coolant changes are due after 5 years which are also covered as are yearly oil changes.
The strategy is wait until you use up your free services and buy the maintenance plan as close to the third anniversary of the car as possible to stretch your maintenance plan coverages out . There are various terms and km's that are available, but the 4 year 60K one prices out very well and will save owners a bunch of money after year 3. They do get more expensive with time due to price increases, but so does the car and the price of the regular maintenance. If you wait, you pay a bit more at the front end to save the cost of the second transmission fluid change at the other end and an extra oil change.
Thanks for explaining it so well!

Jesus you even detail your garage lol...
Was out today for about 60 km . Trying to drive around the snow flurries and frozen puddles. After about 35 km the tires finally came back up to 206 kpa or so but never showed better than cold on the screen....hopeyou'reproud of me.... .

You must have been at 188 when you left your tent garage. Violation of you Warranty...

Only took 7 minutes to get the oil temp up to 34c . Got enough km's left for the tx service/road trip run . All good till the snow comes and starts to get deep....as the saying goes, watch out for the other guy. On the bright side, soon be easy to chill the brew .
