..At 70 years old he is still great . A few years ago Cream got back together and they were awesome . Clapton on stage and just watch him play, no need for flashing lights, makeup, smoke etc, just a man doing his thing.
I'm a huge blues fan and saw Clapton in Edmonton in 1998... solo show.... and the bonus was Bonnie Rait opened for him... one of my concert favorites by far.... and Murray... as much as I'd like to take some credit as well, he didn't learn the guitar from me either....
Eric that would have been quite a concert. Bonnie Rait is a real talent and to see her with Eric Clapton would no doubt be a memorable event.
3 time hall of fame inductee. yardbirds, cream, and solo. should be inducted for derek and the dominoes too.
Can't agree more.... plus one of the best guitarists of all time.... And I was being modest Murray.... I may have taught him a few of those licks..... lol.... ok.... I wish!
