Engine I.D #s

[69C3]

I have a 69c3...350/350.
I cannot make out the existing (or lack there of) engine I.D numbers that were/are stamped in the traditional location on the engine. It appears as though previous owners have sanded the surface dare near clean.
QUESTION...is there another location I should be looking???

only other spot is under the cam sprocket. that 350 is a replacement and not the 327 ? blocks are the same though.

'68 was the last year for the 327 Doug. A 350 would be correct for '69.

ah right - my chevy casting numbers book lumped in passenger cars with corvettes.
