Would like to get my L89 rebuilt over the winter.Most shops would rather drop in a crate motor.If anyone knows of a good local builder please let me know.Or if anyone has had experience with Western Corvette in Calgary.

Are there any redeeming qualities of your L98 that make you want to keep it? I'm only asking cuz you can gain 150 or more HP with a crate than rebuilding your old motor.
I've seen low mileage LS engines for less than 2 grand also here in Alberta.
