Thats because Ford really began a modern day design slide starting in 2018 that took on a whole new level of fugly with the exterior/interior design changes that were the MY24 car. Total US sales prove these years as volume inflection points.

If they bring back the Camaro that is. Wouldn’t be on my list. Looks like EV sales are about to decline for a few reasons, mainly I would guess because of the apparent ending of subsidies. The two provinces with the highest sales by far had the highest subsidies. Go figure.

Don’t get me wrong, I very much liked a number of Camaro models, but I wouldn’t be interested in a 5,500 pound electric one . Linear torque or not.

The mid cycle refresh for the C8 was supposed to come in 2025 and pushed to 2026. Reports say the refresh is coming for 2026 which Chevy is pushing for to get some sales of Stingrays going again. They will only build around 500 ZR1's before the build out at the end of May.
Starting to hear tidbits about the new engine again (being the sixth generation small block V8) which I have been previously saying was targeted for the Grand Sport and known as the LT3. The question is will it be ready for 2027? The colours for the 2027 model are also being decided this month.
Chevrolet is counting on the interior refresh for 2026, the Grand Sport with a 550 hp engine for 2027 and the 75th anniversary for 2028 will revive Stingray sales thus eliminating the plant closures. When there is more than a 90 day supply of cars sitting on dealer lots, changes need to be made other than incentives to move old inventory. This is what you will come to see over the next 3 years taking us out with C8 and on to C9.

No, C8 was never designed to support a stick shift manual

The order buildout date for the 2025 Stingray, Z06, and E-Ray is May 30th and the last order date will be March 20th.

The ordering for 2026 C8 will start on April 3rd and the first allocations will come on April 17th.

The start of regular production (SORP) for the 2026 C8 is June 2nd.

There is, but your dealer is the better choice for information at this point. It could still be months away from production, but usually around 6 weeks if memory serves. It all depends on options and parts availability for your choices and production quantity etc.

I've seen Erays discounted up to $17k so factor that into your decision making.

OWCH ! I didn’t realize that you could spec one to that dollar value. Any indication as to where prices may go as a result of the tariffs being imposed by Brown Eyes , other than speculation which seems to be all over the board ?

they can't even sell the bve dodge charger,offering up to 15 grand off and still on the lots-revues are pretty negative also-they can have them.

Denis , the dealer is your best bet as they will have your order number . GM Canada is always months behind . As an example production started on 2025 model year in summer of 2024 and GM Canada never even posted build outs til November last year …..
