The main reason for my post is that rather than slogans and saying how wrong the other guy is why not just put the "facts" clearly on the table to outline what you think is wrong with a proposal and on the opposite side they can do the same to justify their position. Right now all we have is everybody is wrong and no one is listening to the other side.We pretty well all run deficits in our lives be it to buy a house (mortgage) or maybe even buy a car (C8ZR1). The big thing is to figure out how are we going to pay for it.There has to be some accountability for the tax payers dollars that either party administers when elected.Back to the chart - it just points out that supposed conservatives who, in theory are more conservative, can just as well outspend the liberals.What we need are justifications for the spending. The governments money is not theirs to spend. It is OURS that we have entrusted them to administer to our benefit. And that can mean over spending at times but hopefully not all the time.
