One of the biggest problems is we have to listen to politicians! LOL!They pick a topic and put their spin on it. USually just the opposite of what the other is saying and then justifying it with half truths and part of the facts.As an example. Running a deficit means more cash for government supported projects like dental care or universal health care. It also means more jobs. More jobs means more taxes into the coffers. I'm far from an economist, but simply yelling how bad running a deficit is, is just wrong. Look at some of the wealthiest people in the world. Their money is in constant motion. Done properly you actually are using more money than you actually have.Anyway, not to start an argument about which is right, the point is there are benefits to both sides and the answers are not always what appears on the surface. As citizens we must make the best choice we can make given the information we are given and as Le Baron says cut through the rhetoric to see the truth.
