Door weather stripping

I have just replaced my door weather stripping on my 82 corvette and now my doors will not close all the way does anybody know what I should do.

It should close, with more effort than before........but if it won't.........
The door "striker(s)" needs to be adjusted.
Loosen it/them, and adjust them outward a tad at a time, until you get it to its happy spot.

edit: are the new bits OEM, or after market?

Perhaps you can use that as an excuse for a fresh Corvette.
