agreed once you get all the facts, or most of them the decision is much easier to make

any bashing that took place was not only based on the facts as presented but on a genuine effort to ensure proper work was done

and just so you know they call them STEALERSHIPS for a good reason

you have indeed provided extra valid information and perhaps as a learning experience you could relay this to the service writer or the person who does the billing to put an extra explanation in order to inform the customer ( the one that pays the bills and your salar) so that there is an easier transition from work to payment

you may have 30 years pulling wrenches but in the same vein some of us have had 45 years of dealership experiences that were less than satisfactory

case in point in the mid 70’s gm paid to have leaks corrected in the rear end

NOW THEY CALL IT WEEPING AND IT IS NORMAL AND DO NOTHING TO CORRECT THE ALLEDGED PROBLEM
