The video fails to mention or show replacing the transmission fluid which is lost when the filter is removed, however the print instructions above refer to "approximately .2 litres" being needed.

I'm surprised to see in those same print instructions, reference to the first oil change mileage going from 500 to 7500 miles. I always "baby" my new vehicles and worry about engine break-in and getting rid of any metal shavings as the parts wear in and better mesh together; even in our more "modern age" where engines are supposedly run for hours before being installed and so many manufacturers claim that process has already eliminated those metal shavings. All that said, I'll do my first oil/filter change at the 500 mile or (for us in Canada) 800 km mark, not only because the engine is the most expensive component of a vehicle but especially here since this is a higher performance engine. I think the extra cost worth the piece of mind. Each to his/her own, of course.

Why not? 60 bucks or so is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

Think the engine cost more than the DCT?
