My wife has more than eight weeks of vacation banked and was being pressured to take some time off (oh, the irony), so she took this week off, which will roll into a long weekend. Pretty good deal, actually. Four vacation days cost, ten days overall.
I was lucky enough to get invited to spend the first day with her. She was kind enough to give the day to me, so it was up to me what we would do. I'm a car guy..... So of course we went for a drive.
Nothing special, and nothing planned. Just jump in the car and aim for those big bumpy white things and see what catches your eye and go there. My kind of day!
