Dasilvamotorsports Grand Opening August 18, 2012

Ok Last sleep before the big opening :canada:

See you all there :D

I bet you guys are having a blast today! I can't wait to see the pictures! Manny, I am very sorry for not getting the banner changed in time. I should be meeting Mike this week!

Not your average garage, .......it's stunning. Dead battery prevented me from getting a video clip of the vette on the dyno, the noise was incredible. Great weather and great people, wishing everyone connected with this much success.

I'll post a few more pics tomorrow.

Much thanks to Manny, Dan, and the rest of the team for the wonderful hospitality shown today. Myself and my brother came and had a blast watching the cars on the dyno. I even put my car in for the numbers challenge.
Although the numbers I posted were respectable but not what I had hoped they would be (459 rwhp and 425 ft. lbs torque), I quickly became educated that the air/fuel mixture was much too lean and could hurt the motor if pushed hard. This pull will now be used as a baseline as I eagerly await doing a tune to find the untapped horsepower I feel is hidden within the car.
I also watched in amazement as the Nasty 1 posted 468 rwhp and Dan's posted 513 rwhp with an unreal 798 ft lbs of torque. Although I have watched video before of cars on a dyno, being there live is certainly a huge rush.
Thanks again guys and I look forward to next year's annual event.

Thanks for posting the pictures Colin! Looks like one heck of an event!...probably the biggest event we've had on CCF!

Congratulaions on a very successful event Manny! Wish I too could have been there. I've seen that '67 up around these parts in Southampton about a month ago at a cruise night (you can't forget a license plate like TIKIYAYA). Very beautiful tri-power. His grandson came up with the name he told me.
