DasilvaMotorsports did some last minute prepping on this car this past season for a half mile race in Georgia.

It put down 975 rwhp and 825 rwtq.

First time out with this combo and in detuned form(I was unable to fly out to the event to tune) at the half mile it ran a recorded 171 mph.

There's lots of new and exciting builds going on so who's gonna beat this!

What do you guys have planned!

A C5........interesting. So is this one of the fully forged motors that you need to get into that hp range??

Guess the flip up lights might have been a clue? Or does the new bodywork fool me?

Maybe the weight loss is affecting my vision!

Cheers,

Garry

One thing I can tell you guys from experience-I had much more fun at 650 rwhp.

But us car guys are crazy-we aways want more-especially when we know we can have it!!!!

And my buddy Frank who's car is in this video-he just added Nitrous to the mix-just going to go with a 75 shot for now he tells me.

Glad he's only going "75 for now" -- Too much power could be dangerous.

Kudos to you and the team, Arun -- You've got us all thinking More Power, More Power.

I'm sure that based on your experience Arun, that 650hp mark was probably more street friendly. More then enough power to dust most other cars and yet still somewhat civilized. Still huge hp power is crazy cool. Love it.
