Dasilva Motorsports New Shop is A Z07

Arun likes a challenge, why not sell him your old C5 and let him use that for his "street car" project, if he doesn't need the engine perhaps we can do a swap :)

Seriously, any plans for the old car?

Keeping the Nasty1 as a stable mate :D

Beauty, Manny....I'm drooling already.
Surprised to see "auto" ..... but would be my choice for sure.
Are they estimating fall delivery?

C.

Auto is perfect cause we are going to the track to set some "records" with it!!!!

Canada's first C7 Z in the 9's?

:canada:

Aaaah you changed out the piks and thanks; I still like the kalahari which is why I selected it. No doubt I will take a spin up there personally once mine is received to go for a run and see what you are up to...only 45min away in Niagara and know that area very well. Would be great to have side by side piks of the two close to matching cars in conv and Coupe. I also have a prof photog coming from Florida for a few days of just shots and running...maybe that will match up who knows.

Come up for a visit anytime :canada:

I was shocked that you bought a auto. lol

I am hearing that lot LOL , but if you look at every single world class high performance sports car , they are all paddle shifted autos now . So its only natural that I go that way with this car ...........besides I will still have my C5 that is MN6 :D

It is important for us to get into this new technology and have a firm grasp on its potential .

Agreed, Anyone who thinks they can shift a manual as efficiently as the new auto's is dreaming.

And the Beat goes on.....

Manuals used to be faster because you had better gear ratio's. But now that auto's have more gears and fast shifting, They'll now be quicker..... and more consistent.
The fun factor? Well that's total opinion for each individual.

Got my new plate's :D

Now just wating for my ride to arrive :(

Can't wait to see the Custom Built for Dasilva Motorsports engine tag :D

I got the manual, I love the manual and would not change it, but I can't wait to see how the auto performs in person. There is so much performance here that I am thinking the auto may suit the car better. The auto will definitely kill on the dragstrip.

LOL! Mine was ordered for my 50th Birthday also. The custom dash plaque shows my 50th. It showed up a month early. I hope yours makes it and you will have lots of summer left to enjoy it.

Thanks , keep finger and toes crosssed :D

Got our build date and confirmation today :Woohoo:

Dasilva Motorsports car is being built on July 13th 2015 as a 2016 Z06 / Z07 .

I was able to get the interior color changed to the Brownstone , which was just made available for the Z06 for 2016

Excellent news! Still waiting for my poor 15 Z and, apparently, it is on a train between Toledo and Quebec City 'having left Toledo' which seems to be key. I will stop by for a meet when Im seated, and as well, myself and Kaz will be dropping by when his arrives as well. Z's all around!

Hey I have a question.... There has been much controversy on the versatility of the base tires for both the Z06 and Z07 for road use. Have you any idea on a good replacement for those of us who do put a great deal of road miles on our Z06's? Pirelli's? Something a bit harder rubber I might imagine...

I would replace them with the Michelin Pilot Super Sports for street use .Or the Pilot Super Sport ZPs

Here we go again with the BS from GM and their so called constraints .

Seems that I'm going to have to settle for just the Z06 as GM is having issues again with the components for the Z07 package .

Guess I get to save myself $8000 ,and I am told we will get the car sooner still not very happy

New plates ordered LOL......................anybody want to buy my NASTYZ07 plates

That sucks Manny! GM has really dropped the ball on the C7. Lots of unhappy customers that have money in hand and can't purchase what they want and have to settle for whatever GM says they are "allowed" to have. :WillyNilly:

I guess the only silver lining is this gives you more opportunity to really customize the car. But boo on the constraints! Boooooooo!
