Dasilva Motorsports 2002 Trans Am ProCharger / LS1 383 Forged Build + T56 stage 3

Manny, I notice that you leave the doors and trunk open even when on jack stands. I assume that is for body flex. Would like to know what you put between the jack stands and the frame so the stands just don't hold it up on one thin cross member (but two instead). Have been thinking of making a portable wooden enclosure that straddles both thin ribs so the stands always support two at the same time/

I do leave the doors and truck open for that very reason .

I have been lifting these cars for many years and all you need for jack stands are two cradle points both in the front and the rear . No need for any add wood or bracing .

The 383 LS1 engine build is coming along very nicely , and most of the parts have now arrived .
