I live in Hooterville and do not care if it handles like a chuck wagon..
I do not want to get caught with a flat in he middle of no where.

You can you can carry a can foam flat repair just like the C5 Z06's come with .
That will get you about the same distance as a runflat and cost you $20
I can price you run-flats if you wish .

Guys just a heads up , we have had to change the pricing on the Michelin's , as they have raised our pricing . Please check the thread for the new pricing .

Thx
Manny

Manny, when should I replace my tires? In the grooves of my tires, I noticed last summer that they are cracking. They are also feathering quite a bit but I don't want to get an alignment done until I lower my car and install the frame/rocker protectors. There is a lot of tread left, I'm estimating about 75%.

If they are cracking in the grooves NOW ia a very good time :canada:

Manny, is there any recommendations on tire care to keep future tires from cracking prematurely or do tires just crack over time? Once Spring hits and I can get to my car I'm going to check the date on how old they are. How long do tires normally last outside of wear?

Yes , drive it Riley

Don't use armoral on it either , that stuff drys out the rubber .

Sitting tires just rot the rubber

Is there a general rule for how long one can keep tires before they should be replaced?
Some 'vettes don't get driven very much and the tires get old b4 wearing out.

I've heard 6 years should be your limit. After that it's considered unsafe to use.

The tire's manufacture date is on the side of your tires and shows which week within a certain year it was produced.

Colin.
