.....Dasilva Motorsports goes through a snow storm to up this 1971 C3

Ok , if ever there was a thread to subscribe to , this is the one

Just got back from Caledon and picking up this awesome 1971 Blue C3 .

This car will be getting a full fame off , but with a twist .....

A full custom race suspension , 4 link rear with a Ford 9" , C6 Z06 brakes all around , LS Supercharged power plant , TR6060 trans , full custom interior and modern electronic gauges , custom body and and paint . Custom one off wheel & tire package

Classic look with with modern performance and handling .

The owner has given Dasilva Motorsports full design and execution right's .

So I will personally designing every aspect of this build

I am so blessed & excited to get this opportunity ....stay tuned to this one folks

Manny, if my Lotto Max Ticket comes through, you will have another car dropped off at your place giving you free will to do another one off,,, the dreams are endless,,,n

Looking forward to seeing future progress.

getting rid of the irs and going 9 inch ford eh.....must be planning on some serious drag racing. are you going to back half the car manny ? this is one i will be watching with great interest. will that rear be a bolt in unit from someplace like moser ? i am thinking the 406 we are going to build will be too much for the irs.

Since I have complete control of the build , I have not ruled out going with a completely new frame with a C4 or C6 suspension set up . The C3's are not the most rigid frame even with a fully aftermarket suspension and a 4 link .

I will be doing the build wish list over the next few weeks and once I have the the final costs in place I will post it up

Something like this :
