Dash lights

Hello Gents

1991 Corvette. Trip Monitor panel light bulbs burned out. On removal appear to be very small ,mounted in plastic
holders that twist in about 1/2 turn. The bulbs do not seem to plug into the holders but are one piece (unless I am being a wimp and not trying hard enough). No numbers. I have checked a number of sources, but snookered if I, or they can find anything? Anyone out there got any info? I suspect they would be listed in a complete original shop manual, but that I do not have. Thanks in advance.

As for your light bulbs, they are hard to find. Yes they will pull out of the plastic holder, but you are better to replace the whole unit. The web site I showed in start of reply sells them and also has a great deal of information on these dashboards clusters.

Here is the page you might want to look at : http://www.batee.com/corvette/dcrg/services/9096_bulbs_complete.html

Thanks Brian I checked the site, but it seems they specialize in the instrument cluster. ( by the way, we used to live in Caledonia, but that was a long time ago, nice area, maybe I'll get down there again)

Checked it out at GM dealer. Only was available as the entire "Driver Information Centre" part no. 16142541. Never could get parts for the part. Its now Discontinued. I googled it , there are some available between $84 and $200, bit much just to get a couple of bulbs. Oh well nothing ventured nothing gained.
