Interesting ups and downs. Still hoping to get delivery of my HTC by late spring. Order went on the GM system and got my order number from Humberview Chev several weeks ago.

What number are you on their list? That (and their expected allocations) will determine that.Interesting ups and downs. Still hoping to get delivery of my HTC by late spring. Order went on the GM system and got my order number from Humberview Chev several weeks ago.
Was #1 on Humberview Chev's list in December. Order has gone in to GM and been accepted earlier this month. Have been given the GM order number. Now waiting for an estimated production week. Watching your production reports closely as that will be a good indicator of progress. What number are you on their list? That (and their expected allocations) will determine that.
Sorry, if I missed an earlier post, but accepted would mean you have an allocation and are at 2000 at least. If so, then certainly you'll get a car by spring! Was #1 on Humberview Chev's list in December. Order has gone in to GM and been accepted earlier this month. Have been given the GM order number. Hi, could you tell me where I can find information on the tax regulations on trade ins. I can't locate this information anywhere and as my C7 was traded in June 2021 and I'm still a long way down on my dealers list I'm somewhat concerned.Hope to see it soon after we return home from wintering in Florida (April). Only real pressure is that due to tax regulations I need to take delivery prior to August as that will be 12 months from the time they took my trade in - 2019 blade silver Grand Sport that they still have - I had three C7s, two being Grand Sports. 2017 Grand Sport was written off on Tail of The Dragon by another C7 coming in the other direction. Unskilled driver froze in a panic when he came into one turn too fast. Had he done Spring Mountain he could have easily navigated the turn. I'm not too worried about delivery prior to August unless there is a protracted strike. In order to avoid any other delays we removed the splash guards from the option list as they were on constraint in December. Other options include 2 LT, red mist HTC with graphics pkg, Mag ride, perf exhaust, trident wheels, black aero effects, black low spoiler, black nacelles with body colour roof, optional steering wheel, edge red calipers and two tone red and black interior.
Hi Paul, I am not a tax accountant so can't quote you the HST regulation however two of the salesmen who I was dealing with when shopping for my C8 mentioned it and that is why they didn't want to do a deal involving a trade in back in August. I believe I also saw it on this Forum some time back but not sure on which thread.Hi, could you tell me where I can find information on the tax regulations on trade ins. Thanks DavidWG for your reply. Have a great time in Florida!Hi Paul, I am not a tax accountant so can't quote you the HST regulation however two of the salesmen who I was dealing with when shopping for my C8 mentioned it and that is why they didn't want to do a deal involving a trade in back in August. My understanding is that the dealer had to take possession of your trade in back at time of offer. If you have a sales contract showing your old car as a trade in on the new car then I would think that you have a deal and the tax credit issue belongs to the dealer not you. They may also be doing their own fiddle to make it work. If they have still not sold your old car then they can date the trade in as late as they want until they sell your old car or when you take delivery of the new car whichever is earlier. If they are a smaller dealer they can do a number of fiddles to stay within the regulation I suspect.
