Moved: Cuba March 2013

:leaving:Indulging in Cuban cigars isn't smoking....................

I finally know what "occassional smoker" means.

I spent 19 days, last Feb. cycling from Havana to the far west of the island, Maria Lagorda a dive resort and Cabo San Antonio. This was my 3rd ride on the island and have cycled from one end to the other.
I was not overly impressed with Havana as it is becoming more touristy for better lack of words and lots of hustlers of all sorts. Once you are off the AI resorts in Varadero, you can see the real Cuba.
Lots of Americans have rediscovered the island and suspect it won`t be long until the Starbucks, Walmarts, McDonalds etc., invade the population.

This guy was so proud of his car had to take a pic

Cuban cigars are awesome and its pretty much worth the trip to go buy them there compared to getting them over here.

Here's a few of mine--if you haven't gone, you should go to Cuba. Economical prices and amazing people! I'd like to explore more of the island by motorcycle in future trips......

It's me on the left if any of you ever wondered what I look like--after a few wobblies, anyways......
