Not to forget that at 186 mph you are covering 272 feet per second. Average driver reaction time is at least a second. The ditch or overpass supports are considerably closer. Doesn't take much of a distraction to be in big trouble.

In addition, if driving at night with high beams you might be able to see 500 feet. At 186mph you need about 1000 ft to stop. so if you see an object, like say a tractor trailer with no lights, its too late, yer done for.
