Crazy Police Chase In Richmond Hill

Woke up to the sound of sirens going off like crazy this morning at 5:30am. Yonge st was still blocked off right at my house when I left for work at 8am. Who said crazy stuff doesnt happen in the burbs....

A convenience store robbery in Richmond Hill led York Region police on a wild chase up into Aurora on Wednesday morning, eventually shutting down a portion of Yonge Street.

Yonge was closed in both directions near Industrial Parkway as police searched for the suspect. A 28-year-old man was arrested just before 6:30 a.m.

Officers allege the man broke in to a variety store at Yonge and Silverwood Avenue, north of Elgin Mills, around 4:30 a.m.

Lol yep as Mad Max said, long gone. It was burnt to the ground around 15 years ago. I was only a wee lad. Always wanted to go in hahaha.
