I live at the intersection on the bottom of a hill (for Saskatchewan). The on the hill is a school zone with a speed limit of 30km/hr. I was parked off the side of the street as our entrance is on the side of the house. I was just unloading the Corvette and I heard this bang with a metallic sound of a sign sliding down the street. I turned to see the neighbours trees moving and the Do Not Cross pedestrian sign missing off the sidewalk across from our house. (This pic shows the location of where the sign was and how little skid marks there were)

I went over and saw the sign about 60 feet down the street but no truck. I thought a trailer may have hit the sign and the truck kept going as there is construction in the area. (This pic is after I pulled the sign off the road).

After I finished pulling the sign off the road, a guy came up behind me and asked if I saw what happened as his car was in the neighbours back yard! He wasn't hurt or anything and I went to see his car back there to find this.

No Car in the Back Yard as he made it into the Garage! Even though he had his key in his hand, he said his car was still running. I went to look to make sure it wasn't on anything flammable.

Car in the garage. The engine was off.

Actually, the car almost made it THROUGH the garage and happened to move the boat over. It is surprising how far he made it when he was still driving through a 30 km/hr School Zone. Just amazing.

You know, I always say how I want a garage to protect my car..... I could not imagine if this was my house and our cars were parked in this garage!!!

The neighbours are going to be surprised when they get home!

Wow, what a mess. Somebody is not going to be happy when they arrive home.
