Chevy C8 Corvette Z06 (?) Spied Winter Testing with Fat Rear Fenders

GM is trying hard to cover the body of this test car, so we know for sure that it's a high-performance version.

Not Z06, clearly the hybrid Eray model.

Front trunk looks different, that's where the electric motor will be housed.
Wheels are camo wrapped likely to hide the regenerative breaking tech which is used by most hybrid/electric vehicles.
Also, looks like the z51 spoiler is on the back.. definitely not z06.
Probably all wheel drive as well seeing as how it's testing in the snow.

You think this "Eray" will be more budget?? Or performance like how the NSX had 2 motors powering the front for AWD. In which case this would be...

Well the motor will add about 100hp and torque but add significant weight. Probably faster regardless though because of AWD potential.
