Hey everyone, I own a 2022 Amplify Orange Stingray as most here know (1 of 821), and like a lot of you I love knowing the details: how many were built, what the codes mean, what torques to what. So I built something for fun in my non existent free time : Corvettes.info — Every Corvette, 1953–2027.
FREE for everyone … no catch, let’s clear that straight away.
You ask a Corvette question in plain English and get a straight answer, for any year from 1953 to 2027. It's AI-driven, but it doesn't answer from memory or make things up. It looks everything up in our own database (realtime) I've been building: over 20+ million words, mostly GM's own manuals, order guides and production reports. GM data always comes first. All sourced from publicly available data, which required an inordinate amount of research thus far. It does NOT go search the internet when you ask. We have already done the research and have it stored in our massive corvette database.
What’s behind it now, latest:
The iPhone app is built and waiting on Apple’s final review/approval. It has everything the site does, plus scanning your VIN with the camera and reading year pages with no mobile signal, at a show or in the garage. I’ll post here the second it’s live.
It’s not perfect, and I won’t pretend it is!
The data is all in there, history never changes. What I’m fine-tuning now is how it understands the many different ways people ask similiar questions. Sometimes it misreads a question, or misses a fact that’s sitting right there in the data. When it does, a thumbs-down shows me exactly which question it was. I look at every one, and most get fixed the same day.
Ask it things like:
100% FREE, no card: https://corvettes.info
Try to stump it, and tell it what it gets wrong. That’s how it keeps getting better.

What’s behind it now, latest:
- All 74 model years, 1953 to 2027 (and yes, it knows there’s no 1983)
- 20,000,000+ words of documentation, all indexed and searchable
- 25,500+ torque figures
- 4,250+ diagnostic trouble codes
- 6,200+ service bulletins and recall campaigns, kept up to date
- 5,600+ components, with where each one sits on the car
- GM part numbers, factory service schedules, and production by colour, interior and body style
- Rebuilt answer engine: faster, more accurate, and it gives you the number first instead of a wall of text.
- Exact paint and interior combinations: ask “how many 2021 Ceramic Matrix Gray cars had the Morello Red interior?” and get the real count where GM published it.
- VIN decoding: type or paste your VIN and see what your car is, with a link to its original window sticker where one exists. 1981+ is quite exceptional !!! All years are supported!
- My Garage: save your car and ask questions about it.
- Chat history: pick up a conversation where you left off ... across devices !
- Ask in your own words: nicknames, RPO codes, typos, “my C5 Z06”: it figures out what you mean.
- A public status page, so you can see it’s services are running & status.

Ask it things like:
- “What was the most popular Corvette colour ever?”
- “Tell me about the C6 Grand Sport”
- “What’s the torque on the rear axle nut for a 2005“
- Decode my VIN
