Hello Corvette owners and fans,

We're thrilled to donate for auction two incredible Chevrolet Corvettes to help a wonderful charity that is dear to the community and GM Canada, Sharon's Kids. For your chance to make one, or both, of these iconic Corvettes part of your collection, place a bid starting Wednesday, October 21st through to the close with a live online auction Wednesday, October 28th.

Here's a few words from our president and managing director of GM Canada, Scott Bell:

Thanks everyone,
Your Chevrolet Canada Corvette Team!

Very generous and thoughtful. The battle that kids go through can usually only be seen on the faces of the Mothers and Fathers.

Hope you raise a great deal of money for a very worthy cause.

For those interested, the auction is well organized and easy. It's through the Manheim Canada auction house in affiliation with GM Canada. The build sheet with the MSRP for each fairly loaded vehicle is clearly set out (about $103,000 to $104,000 each, plus gst). You'll need to submit a $5,000 credit card deposit in order to place a bid. Then you'll have to wait for everything to be approved (about 5 minutes), before you're officially registered as a member. You can then submit a "pre-bid" but the final bidding occurs with the live auction on October 28 (in 5 days) which looks to start at 4:30 p.m. Only open to Canadian residents. Thanks to GM Canada for these great donations, good luck to all bidders and the charity in particular!

Glad to hear that this is for Canadian residents only. Otherwise the US would be all over it.
Thanks to GM for taking this in to consideration

Hi Corvette fans...

We wanted to share another video we pulled together in support of the Corvettes for Kids Charity Auction with Canadian racing legend Ron Fellows chatting with Tadge, Harlan and Kirk on C7 and C8.
Just four Corvette fans talking Corvettes!

Enjoy.

Your Chevrolet Canada Corvette Team.

Hope one hell of a lot of money is raised for this cause.
They sure did, I was curious too so from gmauthority:

"...The highest bid for the last Canadian C7-generation Chevy Corvette came in at CA$187,500 (US$140,798), while the first Canadian C8-generation Chevy Corvette was auctioned for CA$181,000 (US$135,917)..... "
