I've been to the Milford Proving Grounds but wasn't allowed to see anything more than the guard shack as it's only friends and family of employees that are allowed in. It's absolutely massive!!! It would be worth going to be able to drive your Vette on the track. What an experience this would be to any Corvette/GM enthusiast! The town of Milford is a really nice little town. Lots of little shops and restaurants. I really hope someone from this forum does it.
