Corvette Driving Shoes from Piloti

I also take wide shoes and ordered a full size larger. I'll let you know how they fit when they get here........................

Hi Smack,

I suggest you buy a pair 1/2 size larger that your regular size and another ful size larger. Use Free Shipping promo code. return the one (or both) if they dont fit right. They offer free return shipping labels.

You could also get them as a gift for your son/daughter who isnt otherwise allowed to drive your C7 yet just in case you really want them but they wont fit you at all ;-)

I ordered mine on Sunday and got my pair delivered by Canada Post by Tuesday. What i liked was that one of their agent actually emailed me to reconfirm the size before shipping them out. It was like a Concierge service. I am a size 9 and usually get the Wide fit. My 9 1/2 on these Pilotti's were a perfect fit! and they are quiet comfortable to wear. The sole is a little stiff the first couple of days and then it streches and loosens up a bit.

Goodluck!

Don't worry, I'll see if I can find a catwalk to model them on for you.

I am pretty excited though. now if I can just find someone to teach me heel/toe breaking I'll be in business.

A new pair showed up on my doorstep today.
Yes the "half-size bigger rule" matters and they did ask for email confirmation of that fact before shipping
... so, along with a wide foot, it's a good thing I did not shrug it off.

Although they are tempting, three strikes took place for me in deciding not to choose the Corvette Styling. First is that I feel there are enough logos in the Stingray already and that I did not have to add two more (so I guess I am wearing down a little bit from the "enough already" from my loved ones). Second is that I really am not too sure if a rub-point will happen too soon due to the extent of the fabric (versus leather) on the "boot" of the corvette logo'd shoe. Third is what really pushed me away from the Corvette issue ... my size-plus-a-half was no longer available.:Banghead:

SO, although it meant being a couple of bucks poorer, I am happily breaking in this pair of black leather with red stitch around the home.
:moonwalkbig: :claphigh: :heelz: :tiptoebig:
Chosen over my second choice of black leather with white stitch only because my Corvette is Long Beach Red and with my never-ending patronage of Earnhardt's #3 GMGWSP red, white and black (some grey will show up later on).
I am looking forward to putting these shoes to work as, just like in my grand prix, my runners are just terribly uncomfortable after about 90 minutes of driving.

Hurray! New shoes for me! Fresh out of the box and on my feet as I type.

Oh ya! No problem with having gone a full size larger over my normal size - but I have to lace them up yet first................lets do that....................

Ahhhhhhh! Yes, they feel fine and in black and yellow are looking mighty sharp too! I just hope they won't be a problem with me looking at my feet and not at the road!

I feel sort of pimped out now. I just need to get my Dasilva Motorsports hat on and I'll be lookin' gangsta!

Weather wonderful in Fairview, while the Z06 remains garaged at the moment it was warm enough to fire up the convertible and to take it out for its' first drive of the 2017 season and at the end of March yet too! not sure how long the weather will last, if it will snow more but right now it is fantastic! And while the highways are Z06 ready, the road sin town are still awash in many places.

Perhaps, even more joy, I actually found a runner in Fairview and we wen tout last night for the first time and it went just fine. I was worried I might be unable to keep us as she is 22 years younger than me. An ex-runner as well. Imagine under the "small world category" when she told me the reason she recognized my last name was that she worked with my ex for two years just after she left me!

Previously, when I was living in Spirit River I had to drive to Grande Prairie to go running with others. At the acreage I had to drive to Peace River. Now I have someone who is 2 minutes down the street to go running with! We have to work around her parenting and my farming but otherwise I am really excited about this opportunity.

We're planning on hitting the streets again tonight and to do some puddle jumping on our way to getting fit.

Sure wish I could wear these shoes for that but I don't think they were built for road work, just peddles.

5 minutes in, feeling comfortable, supportive and we'll see how they go as the afternoon gets on!

Ooooh that sounds like a challenge!

So an update. I have to be very careful with keeping my toenails cut if I don't have wide enough shoes thus for the Piloti's when I went a full size larger. Well evidently I needed to cut them as after a few hours of just wearing them around the house while reading etc. there was enough abrasion to have a nail dig into the side of an adjacent toe to cause it to bleed!

Hummmm. Trying to upload the shoe picture but it won't let me but it won't say what the problem is...................is there a file size limit?

So I loaded the reply and then edited it and was able to add the images. How odd.

But aren't they sharp!!!!!!!

Now to spend some time sitting in the car to practice my heel/toe shifting!!

A good guess but you'd be wrong.

They are carbon nanotube construction inside actually.

Graham you are obviously mistaking these shoes for the Piloti Ferrari shoes which are carbon fibre inside - accurately modeled after the expected inferior construction of their cars are compared to anything Corvette.................

Cheers,

Garry

We have a store in Haliburton that sells some high end foot wear. Based on you C6 and 7 guys getting some fancy racing shoes I stopped in to ask what they had for C5's.

Came home with a new pair of rubber boots that they folded the tops down to look even more cool, although I now have three holes in each brand new boot from rolling the tops over. But man do I ever look good with them on.

Hello, all. I recently purchased a pair of Piloti Spyder S1 shoes through the on-line shop of SportChek, which Canadian Tire also owns. There is free shipping and if they don't fit it is easy to return them at a SportChek store. The prices are quite reasonable, I think. They are not offering the full line of shoes through SportChek and not even all the sizes.

I had seen the Corvette shoes on the Piloti website and as I feel you can just too many logos I went with the Spyders, which apparently offer a bit more ankle support than the Prototipo models. I spoke to someone about sizing and they said that with the leather shoes you definitely need to go a half size bigger but the suede ones were true. This was lucky for me as SportChek does not offer a size 11 1/2. Anyway, the Size 11 shoes were delivered two days after I ordered them and while they are a bit snug they are actually quite comfortable. The width is fine; a smidge more length would not have been bad. I wore them around the house for the evening to make sure. The shoes are made in China (like pretty much all athletic-type shoes) while the fancy leather Pilotis ($$$$$) come from Italy. The quality is very good and I am looking forward to finally mastering heel-and-toeing with them if the snow every disappears here in Ottawa!

Hello Corvette Killas!

I found out today the Racing Shoes manufacturer, Piloti Shoes, now have official GM Merchandise shoes for Corvettes and Camaros. Piloti shoes are also the official driving shoes of the Ron Fellows Driving School in Nevada.

The Corvette shoes come in 2 special editions:
1. C7 Limited Edition (Black) -- C$155
2. C7 Racing Limited Edition - Jake (Black/Yellow) -- C$150

The best thing is these are actually cheaper to buy in Canada than in US straight from manufacturer website on Piloti.com. In US same shoes are priced for US$145 and US$135 respectively. With currency conversion its a steal to buy in Canada.

Another tip, use discount code "FREESHIP" for free Canadawide shipping. In cas if u need to exchange for a different size they also offer free return shipping labels which is pretty convenient. FYI they recommend that you order 1/2 size larger than your regular shoe size.

I hope you guys are as thrilled about these official Corvette shoes as I am. I ordered mine already. waiting for them to arrive sometime by next week hopefully.

Takecare,

Thanks for the post! I just ordered a pair.

My friends. I think that’s a little too much. I love my Camaro because of its roaring engine and sleek look.

Not sure what your Camaro has to do with the price of shoes.... Your bio says you have an 08 Z Vette. You think your Camaro is sleeker looking than your Vette? lol...

Well it is way easier to get my cougar like frame into my wife’s Camaro than my Vette. So there is that.
