Well this is interesting in a sad way....

Corvette crashes into northern Alta. home then takes off; RCMP investigating

Police responded to a call reporting the Corvette was driving erratically before it crashed through a fence, struck a house on 90th Street and then fled the area at around 9 p.m.

I doubt there are many ZR1's around Peace River, Alberta so they should find the culprit soon...unless the car was stolen. Fortunately, it doesn't sound like anyone was hurt; just some property damage: wiped out a fence and hit a house. If it wasn't stolen, I suspect the driver was impaired which would explain why he/she didn't stick around. I wonder what the car looked like afterwards but it must have been drivable. Not good PR for Corvettes...

Yes. This is definitely a weird one. Peace River is a tiny town of about 6000 people. There is a gray C6 coupe around the block from my daughters house. That is the only newer model Vette we know of.

Could be a Grande Prairie car? There a lot of nice cars in GP....

Ya.. what a waste of a great car. Don't need to be wasted to lose control of that beast. Likely another "I don't need no stinking traction control" moron.
