I have no idea when I bought it but my wife started putting up my hot wheels cars on a shelf, and I saw one very odd one that looks a lot like a car that Doug drag races. It’s actually scary how close the two cars resemble each other. :Wideyed::Wideyed::Wideyed:

Which makes me think the hotwheels is nothing like his car.....the windshield is different, the hotwheels rear end is different....... Well, they both have 4 tires, purple paint with decals on the side. Whoooops! I just thought Hotwheels didn't do a great job recreating his car. :D

Lol.... From the front they look a lot closer Riley but your Hot Wheels replica is a Henry J, not a Studebaker. Easy mistake though given neither one have been around for a long long time and do have some similarities. An interesting fact though is that the 1952 Henry J was available in the Sears Roebuck catalogue in 1952. And like the Studebaker, a lot of them went on to become drag race cars as well.

I seriously believe the newer generation is too confident in technology and doesn't respect the path paved enough, but that's a totally different topic. :D

Just tell them to own a sports car and live on 2 km of dusty gravel road. They will soon learn to "respect the paved path"....

Just kidding Riley. I know what you mean.
