I just listened to the news after PM Carney mentionned 25% tarif on US made cars including the Corvette, what is that going to do on the new and used prices of Corvette?

New cars will already go up in price with the the Turdump Tariffs. Some say as much as US$10K. Tack on the retaliation tariffs and you are likely looking at another large chunk. Time to look at Porsche, Lambo or Ferrari?I just listened to the news after PM Carney mentionned 25% tarif on US made cars including the Corvette, what is that going to do on the new and used prices of Corvette?
Don't make me lock this thread please. It was a group decision by all the provinces Premiers. The topic is Corvette pricing.Morons, how is that targeted…no surprise from the irrational environmentalists.![]()
Give it time. You never know what can happen. The consumer is going to eat these price increases. All that means higher end cars will have even a smaller market, less people able to afford them. That Z06 I was looking forward to getting next year appears to be moving farther away. Oh well.
Careful. You have to mention the price of Corvettes or Murray will threaten to lock the thread.Time to invest in livestock, mainly horses, as a mode of future transportation around Canada/the globe.
That, and perhaps bicycles. Works in China.
After the dust settles, of course.....
(WTI dropped US$5/bbl this morning. Wait for gas/diesel to follow...)
He said bicycles, so Corvette was implied. lolCareful. You have to mention the price of Corvettes or Murray will threaten to lock the thread.![]()
Hmmmmm.... irrational environmentalists that ride bicycles then.......He said bicycles, so Corvette was implied. lol
What's your problem? It's clear as mud! Yes, They aren't not!Does anyone know if the Corvette qualifies under the CUSMA exemption for vehicle importation ? I looked but couldn’t find an answer.

Canada slaps 25% counter-tariffs on U.S.-made cars, but not parts
Carney met Thursday morning with provincial and territorial leaders about Canada's response.nationalpost.com
Well that’s what I was thinking until I realized that even if I didn’t know what the actual answer was after being told otherwise that it wouldn’t matter if what we thought we knew was actually not the actual reason why we could have been incorrect. What's your problem? I just priced a 2024 911 4 GTS here in B.C. - very low mileage (90 km.) $220K + all the taxes here in communist BC 0f $73K = almost $300K. I was thinking of keeping my C8 ( which I absolutely love) and buying the 911 - which is absolutely loaded: rear axel steering, front lift and premium - top of the line stereo system in GT Silver & vert. If I lived in AB it would be in my garage - LOL.New cars will already go up in price with the the Turdump Tariffs. Some say as much as US$10K. Grab on off the lot now. Discounts are on most of them. The consumer is going to eat these price increases. All that means higher end cars will have even a smaller market, less people able to afford them. That Z06 I was looking forward to getting next year appears to be moving farther away. Oh well.
