I had to put in my .02,
Mine is silver and The guys couldnt be more right, I just wash mine at the car wash down the street and it always looks fantastic! HOWEVER my rims are black, and they get done seperatly with a soft cloth and shamwow. I dont want then to show streaks and scratches.
It was the truth that the color of the car should dictate the wash proceedure!
My hummer is White, and I dont think I could make the paint look bad if I washed it with rocks, but all my other cars are black and they require special attention.
