If i dont get a C7 this year i want to put some more money in my LS2 and keep it for a while. Current power mods, Kooks headers w/catless x-pipe, Fast 102 intake, Airaid CAI, B&B route 66 axleback.
Ive always loved the choppy sound of a good cam, and i know that if i keep the stock converter my options are limited. While inside i will also put in a new timing chain, trunion upgrade, springs retainers locks seals and pushrods. Currently leaning at the Brian Tooley LS1/LS2 stage 1 complete kit. The shop doing the install recommended putting the BTR stage 1 LS3 cam in for a more aggressive sound. Curious if any of you have a cammed LS2 6AT. Out the door price im looking at $1500 in parts, about $1800 in labour ( at that specific shop) and $800-1000 for dyno tuning. Last thing i want is to drop 5k and not be able to hear the cam, car is my summer daily.
