I get $155,199 (including destination charge, A/C, dealer fee, etc....being the usual extra charges on the "build and price") + taxes. That includes brake calipers, black rims, competition seats, stealth interior trim package, carbon fiber level 2 and all-weather floor mats. I can't tell if it has black lug nuts (regular and locking) and we don't see into the trunk/frunk so don't know if the floor mats are matched by the tray kit.
The luxury tax is $11,039.80 ($55,199.00 x 20%) and the 13% HST on the total of $166,238.80 ($155,199.00 + $11,039.80) would be $21,611.04, so the "grand total" for MSRP + options + Ontario taxes, works out to be
$187,849.84 ($166,238.80 + $21,611.04). That's for a "slightly used" 2023 Z06 with 1,400 km on it: coupe, 3LT, black exterior with red dipped interior, and the known options listed above. So the asking price of $229,000.00 is $41,172.16 over "MSRP + taxes". Compare that to the 2024 pricing, which is about $18,000.00 more + associated taxes on that, plus the wait time, for a very few more "bells and whistles" including the dreaded engine start/stop...
As indicated elsewhere on these Forums, I was offered several new 2023 Z06's at $50,000.00 over MSRP and turned them down w/o bothering to try and negotiate. However the dealer made it clear it planned to get close to that $50,000.00. Right now, one of my local dealers is sitting on a new 203 Z06 and it's asking a measly $100,000.00 over MSRP which it described to me as "we're looking for just a bit over MSRP" and only after asking several times, was I told its definition of "a bit over". lol
We'll see if 2024 pricing reduces Z06 wait lists/demands. It should. That in turn will reduce prices on new 2024's, likely to a max of MSRP as time goes on.
Finally, I note that
DenisC8 in another posting, tells us that so far in the first week of 2024 production, 240 Z06's came off the production line. Prices on used Z06's should drop over time, however it depends on how fat your wallet is, compared to your patience. Welcome to Canada...the Corvette land that GM has chosen to deprive of allocations but NOT reduced pricing (au contraire: GM has Canada perfectly centered in its cross-hairs on 2024 price increases, unlike any other country).
Well done GM and thanks from Canada, especially from those of us on a Z06 list for 3 years or more, budgeting for a regular price increase (cue ironic/sad/disappointed/disbelieving/angry...take your pick of some or select all...music score).
