The wait is almost over, but GM likes to test your patience!! Went on the waiting list for a C8 July 2021. Finally got the call in Feb 2023 to build the car, and my car was built and shipped out of the factory a couple weeks ago. The car arrived in Ingersoll at the shipping yard 1 week ago and still has not arrived at the Dealership! The dealer is only 1.5hrs away from where the car is sitting, waiting to be picked up. The length of time consumers have to wait for cars these days (especially the C8), GM Canada should be doing everything possible to make sure it's delivered as quickly as possible once its available to ship. Auto Manufacturing is still not producing the # of cars Pre-Covid, so there is not excuse for a delay in shipping. The local Dealerships have no control over this, 100% falls on GM Canada....I'm sure I'll get it soon, but still very frustrating!!
