Ya . Very informative. Supports your contention that it’s as much a standard transmission as an automatic. Actually in a sense it’s two manual transmissions operating as one seeing how one clutch operates the even gears and the other one the odd gears. In 100 milliseconds!

Are you saying that the C8 is manual but twice better than a regular manual transmission? LOL
If by "twice better" you mean faster, then yes. Faster than a human with a stick and pedal can shift and yes, a human can shift gears whenever they want so it can be done manually.
Don't know what's funny about it.
It might be too early for you but I was referring to all the other post debating manual VS automatic transmission.
OK, Sorry Matt, I see your humour now. Maybe I'm just too sensitive on the subject.
