C8 Stolen from Richmond Hill

There is a 2 car garage in the house...Clean the damn crap out of the garage and put the car in there...DUHHH
Yes; but. it has two more more expensive cars in it - LOL. People living there have money - real money!!!

I read an article in a Florida newspaper many years ago about a Ferrari owner who back up to a tree in his yard every night and chained his car to the tree to prevent theft. One morning he came out and his car was turend around, facing the tree and re-chained up. There was a not on the windshield that said "When we want it, we will come and get it". Not much anyone can do if a pro car theft ring wants your car bad enough.

Old saying "out of sight out of mind". Advertising you have a Vette on social media attracts the wrong kind of attention. Storing in a garage would certainly help, but I suspect if a thief can by-pass the car's theft deterrent system it would not take much to defeat your automatic garage door opener. Flipping the breaker on the electrical panel for the garage door opener when you get home may be a little extra precaution unless it has battery back up.

Polson Street in Toronto's Portlands, a dead end street with a turn around. It was my summer hangout last year. Right across from the Rebel Nightclub is the spot where the pic above was taken. A very popular place because of the city background. Now I used to go and relax and read down there because you could have your fair share of "social distancing" and it got me out of the apartment.

However, it was also a great spot for people/car watching and I believe I have seen this woman before but not with a Corvette. It was not unusual to see nearly naked women and on one occasion one who was. Bizarre place. If the Toronto guys if go down there, and lots of exotics do, you need to watch out for the water trucks. Huge amounts of construction going on there so lots of dust/dirt around. To keep it down they use the water trucks to turn the place in to a muddy mess. Not good for clean cars.

Hope she gets her car back but I suspect it is long gone. Thieves, hate them.

Thieves everywhere...but the difference is I can sit on my front porch with a 12 gauge in hand, and won't have to worry about the neighbors thinking I'm a lunatic.
They KNOW you're a lunatic! ;)

Something fishy there. She lives in a mansion like that and parks in the driveway and has no security cameras? Nothing like baiting a thief. No Onstar either???
