C8 Stingray with AS Tires

We won't be driving ours in the snow, but I've driven in the cold and the tires are fine.
Me either unless just a bit of slush; but, for me, here in BC, I could drive it all year round. No point having a car that you can't drive for 4 or 5 mth of the year. I drive my C7 9 mths of the year now - rain - car won't melt - LOL. If I order a C8 and spend $104K it would be nice to drive it all year round.

well i live in beautiful cape breton ( safest place on earth right now, lol) and there probably be 4 months a year that driving will be extremely rare but ill take it. just play with my other toys , no biggy
es, lots of snow there. I use to drive down there in the winter from Montreal to do audits at Petrofina plants back in the day. Bring out the snow mobiles and sleds - LOL. Been to CB as well - beautiful there in the summer.

The C8 allseason are solid tires for wet and cold driving here on the wet coast. Love the feeling of safety.
Highly recommend them, especially for the wet coast.

No sliding around like on the Z51 C7 with summer tires.
I started with summer tires on the Z51 C7, and switched to allseasons as soon as they were made for the C7 Z51 with the larger wheels (circa 2016).
World of difference. Huge!

Driving on summer Michelins in the cold felt like I was skidding on ice.
Absolutely no traction, and risking damage to body and car everytime it went out below 7C. And risking cracking the tires (remember that?)
Absolutely dangerous tires. Maybe fine when they are sticky in 100F weather, but not here. The people who rave about them live in southern states or only drive in the summer North of the 49th.

Unless you are tracking, every C7 and C8 should be on allseasons. GM and Michelin laughed at me when I was pushing them to introduce allseasons in the Z51 size back in 2015. Yes, I was speaking with GM brass, and Michelin guys at the Spring Mountain test track too. Guess who got the last laugh, as GM finally came to their senses and Michelin made them available to GM. Now standard feature on the C8, and available for the Z51 in identical size. Now everyone can extend their driving season safely.

Does not matter how capable the car is when the tire is not.
