Hi,

I am looking to lower my non Mag/Non Z51/Non front lift C8 Stingray.

I am considering buying Z51 struts or buying the 1" paragon lowering springs.

Has anyone else succesfully instaled the z51 strugs on a base? if so how much did it cost and how much was install? Also is it easy to raise it back up in your own garage using the wrenches?

Can anyone recommend a speicifc garage around Toronto that sells the parts and also installs them professionally for a good rate?

Any input on the topic or past experiecnes would help!

I have the same car as you and I lowered mine with Eibach springs only. I got it down almost 1 inch all around. I would not go any lower than that as you will have more issues with speed bumps and ramps.
Hey Matt. How much was the cost to install and who did it?

I did it myself. It took about a day to complete as I was doing it on the ground. The best advice I can give is to always take your time, watch and rewatch videos.

I had a mechanic verify my work after and I had to get an alignment (so maybe 200$).

And about 550$ for the Eibach springs.

Also do you have a picture of your car?

The wheels are from MRR. Looks like replica ERAY rims.

Do you have a spring compressor or you rented one?
I took my Camaro springs to a tire shop and had them swap them. I'm afraid of coil overs taking a hand off.

I borrowed one from a friend (who did the same to his C8).

You have to be really careful with the spring compressor. As you said, you could easily hurt yourself.
