C8 Ron Fellows

To anyone who's done the Ron Fellows school. Are you limited to just yourself for the $1000 owners price. Who goes to Vegas alone? What If I want to bring my brother, can I get him for $1000 too? Or will he have to pay the $3600?
From what I understood its just the Owner when I spoke with them your Brother,GF,Wife, buddy can go and stay with you but they will not be driving.

Wonder if you find another C8 owner that doesn't plan to attend if you could sign up using his VIN# , also I bet a lot of you owners that say you will not track your C8 will be considering it after taking this school so your warned :ohoh:

I would like to edit my last post, but fear being placed on the edit banned list.

I travel by myself to track events frequently...
LMAO... If you're afraid to edit for fear of not being able to edit, it appears to pretty much have you not editing either way.... hahahaha...

The reduced price is for one person whose name is registered with the VIN# (in the event of 2 names being registered) ... I tried in 2016.
So it was full price for the second driver ... unless that driver buys a New Corvette (VIN#) of their own ... yyssw ... I know of a few who have done that.

( I am not overly afraid to edit knowing I'm not doing it to be harmful ... and for often correcting fat thumbs on an iPhone ... well, haven't received a warning demerit yet )

Spring Mountain is mandated by GM to verify the VIN# and name registered to the VIN# ...
hence when I found the choice of only one of the owner names when registering.

Had awesome chats with Rick Malone (awesome man) about some of the surface/business aspects
of the COS organization on my Wife's trip (as I was just a ride along on the "not his VIN#" trip)

Yeah, they have pinched many Corvette Owners trying to "sell" their VIN# rights for the COS and
even claims of VIN# being stolen and even a few attempts taken from an unsold VIN# on the lot.

Regular price is $3600 , discounted is $1000 for 2 days including lodging, we have a year from C8 purchase anyone interested in a Canadian meet up in Las Vegas maybe in the fall ( November and do Sema at the same time) That's my plan if some would like to join

This sounds interesting...

Might be time for a road trip/caravan :heavycar:.

SEMA is also on my "BUCKETOY" list. How do I get in there anyways?

:Cheers2:

Ask the dealer you bought your C8 from for a business pass wink wink;)
On a C8 ... it would be impossible as 99 may agree. Perhaps in a few years ... who knows.
However ... I negotiated/factored $1200 in savings on my offer to purchase
in 2016 & again in 2017 ... disclosing that it was for funding COS enrollment
and necessary in the negotiation budget of a new C7.
Worth a shot as one never gets what one doesn't attempt to negotiate for .....
(forget it for current C8'ers ... but perhaps factor it in your price/budget for the last of the C7'ers)
