C8 Order wait time in Windsor ON

Just a heads up... where you are on your dealer's list is meaningless unless you know how many allocations your dealer will get for 2021. Someone who is at #5 on their dealer's list may be looking at a longer wait than someone who is at #45 on their dealer's list.

My dealer, Birchwood Chev here in Winnipeg got 9 2020's. Hoping that repeats as I am #3.

I put my deposit & order in first of Dec/20 was # 38 on list beginning of Feb. I was 27th. I am aiming and hope for spring of 22. Gives me this whole year to drive my Grand Sport.

Hi Murray. I was at my dealer yesterday to get an update on my build and they looked it up and it is at 3000 status. Do you know a typical time period from 3000 to 3800 or even better 5000 status. I’m in Sarnia Ontario. Thanks for any info, I’ve been waiting since December 2919 when I put my order in.

Just got a call from my dealer. He said my order is advancing at Chevy but that I had to make a call on a couple of option deletions. The carbon fiber grill inserts and extended rockers aren't available. He said I could have my order delayed if I really want them or have it advance to the next stage without them. I said go ahead without them so I can get the car order moving. I think we can add these later thru the parts department. Sounds like my car will be built soon but would anyone hazard a guess on how soon?

Contact your dealer to find out your current status code. If at 3000, you know you will be getting your C8. If you have a TPW, this will let you know that you have a tentative production week. Will not account for Civud 19 production delays, therefore the TPW may be fluid until you get to 3300 status.
