And another ITW sighting, this time at night (thank you xXColorShiftXx), with first picture of production taillights (though disguised, e.g., partially taped over):

And now showing how the real ones look without partial tape (as we saw totally exposed on the C8.R a week ago). Thankfully the production cars gets the non-obscured ones (C8.R on the right).

Lots of the above pictures are distorted, starting with the rear of the IVERS still having massive camo thickness in exactly the parts we are looking. It is looking hideous because GM’s “Masters of Deceipt” have put the camo to deceive us — and they are doing an outstanding job.

Additionally, as an article now has confirmed (linked below), 1) the height of the rear deck of the C8 is the same as the C7’s (both measured without a spoiler), and 2) as those who have seen the back end of the naked car, it not only appears smaller, but it has some attractive elements. One of those elements is that with a C7 we could almost take a six foot level and have it touch the top edge of entire rear fascia from one side of the car to the other, whereas on the C8, it has a definite curvature inward (starting from the centerline of the car going toward the sides). Also some additional highly attractive styling details which we learn about at the reveal that GM is doing an excellent job is so far hiding from our public view.

Lastly our eyes average about 60” above the pavement, yet the above picture was taken from about half that height — grossly exaggerating the height and bulk of the ME’s rear.
