Hello my fellow Canadians. As many of you know our Caravan group is currently in Bowling Green and the C8 is everywhere. My good friend Don K. won the C8 plant tour raffle and was amazingly generous and gave me his ticket. I saw the C8 on the assembly line being built and they are invading the area everywhere here. It is an absolute hit and is really amazing in person. The design, fit, finish and feel of everything is incredible. The current ones being produced are only test mules and dealer promo cars. The actual customer retail car production will start this December. Not alot is known yet on the ZO6, ZR1 or manual but they were hinted at the plant so we will be patiently awaiting what the General has up their sleeves in the future. Well, here are some real cars, enjoy, we are!!!

Well that's it for now. I will post alot more detailed interior and cutaway pictures later. It's back to more looking, touching, smelling and drooling. They are incredibly comfortable and a definite winner in my my mind. I am sold and already planning for the future!

Wow, the C8 looks awesome ... except the smurf blue one. Glad to hear the fit and finish is top notch. It seems the body panels, hood, trunk , etc are copied after the F35 stealth fighter plane. I can't wait to see the car in real life. Might have to scratch that itch in a couple of years.:p

Glad to hear the group made it there safe and sound. Great pics , but I just can't see anything of interest to stop and look at except the cut - away display. Post 2 of the blue that reminds me of a Mercury Comet or Pinto, an ugly color on a ugly car. The bug catcher front end really is seen here. The back end looks like something fell on it and caved the middle in. Funniest looking Corvette ever built I think . Wishing GM luck selling the thing and satisfied buyers.

So,,,,,does that mean yours might come up for ahhhh..... 😉

Thank you for posting @turbozig .
A lot of you who went down there did so at such great expense and time. Those of us who didn’t go (and wanted to), have been “patiently” waiting for a decent thread like this one. A thread that you generously took the time to make available in midst of all your excitement and busy schedule at the Bowling Green Event. If the C8 was even questionable for you at first, it sounds like seeing it and touching it and whatnot ... has taken that away. Good for you Brother 😁👍🏻
I will absolutely take your word with the respect that it deserves. A car that must be experienced in person ... and before passing any contrary judgement. Your report is not making the “C8 wait” any easier ... safe journey home my friend 👍🏻

Sometimes you just go too far Michael. Don’t think anyone gives a *hit what you think anymore as your negative stuff on this car is becoming ridiculous. Are seriously meaning this or are you just trolling for a reaction?

This thread is to celebrate the evolution of the Corvette and share in excitement of the people who made the commitment to actually get off their ass and go see it in person. Maybe save your venom until you actually see in in person.

Normally I find your pissing and moaning about the modern and relevant Corvette generations humorous but this is simply too much this time.
