C8 High Wing Option No More

Really if you spec your car slightly different the price difference between what you have and having one with Z51 and high wing is $1935 plus the wing installation is included, you will need to drill with no Z51. When you look at the numbers you don't need 5 million just saying.
$5900 Z51
$670 High wing
Minus $570 for selling Z51 wing
Total $6000

NPP $ 1375 not needed
High Wing $1500
Yellow calipers $ 695 you could paint them yourself for cheap
Orange belts $495 yes they look nice but would prefer that $$$ towards a performance package on a sports car then a fluff option
Total $4065

The shinier the better....lol not! I ordered the base rims but will powder coat them black. I am so damn cheap that I ordered the 1LT. I do wish that I had ordered the high wing but maybe I wouldn’t even have received it given that my car is being built next week.

Yea that all works but the appearance of the car is priceless. Would never take off options such as the seat belt and paint color, that's what makes it more unique and personalized. I think going high wing, performance exhaust, FE3 springs is ALL you need if you're not tracking the car more than a couple times per year. The upgraded brakes and extra radiator is nice, but not for a 3-4 grand.

Good luck with that my dudes.... You guys have been following all this stuff for a while, you guys should have ordered the $670 high wing when you had the chance through parts. Good luck finding someone (especially Canadians who got them cheap) to part with one.

Joey are you sure this is the carbon flash high wing spoiler? Says carbon fiber and I can't find any more information or pictures. If it's the one I'm looking for I'll buy it right now.
 
Khoa will be the best current alternative if GM takes my high wing off my vert... but he will still be more expensive than our Canadian pricing. I'm hoping GM left some for the early verts.... They've already pissed off vert buyers big time by missing the whole summer and now not giving us our high wings would be really nasty.
