I haven't read too many good things about Hennessey. Over-priced and customer service/work quality issues. Not sure how they could plan any HP for the car since it's just been released, unless they had a pre-production model or a mule ... which I doubt. Kind of putting the cart before the horse.

well can't they just order the engine from Chevy and do their designs off that?

Being a mechanical Engineer l can say that we can do almost as much with a calculator and notepad as using a workbench to come up with HP ratings .
