you’re at a dealership, I have a question, what is the order split on the Coupe vs Convertible orders at your dealership? If the vert orders are increasing (not sure if they are), do you think it will be faster to get a coupe as the verts will be on constraint and they are not starting vert production until April. This may open up allocations due to customers electing to order the convertible. Your thoughts.?
Just off the top of my head, I'd say 30% are convertible orders at this point. Many people on our waiting list have not submitted their build yet. For once, a convertible is actually a popular option.
If you're near the front of a list at a dealership, ordering a coupe will likely move you ahead in line.
That being said, if you wanted the convertible, would you regret not getting one if it meant getting your car a couple of months sooner?
