I shared it as a client/customer I hope that was okay.

Cheers,

I'm sure it'll be fine. As a representative of the brand, I didn't want to me "that guy".

This is the information I received from my dealer to do my build out ideas before I go into my dealer so I can get my final number to my budget before I go in to do it online

Cheers,

Kevin
Thank you very much for the post. I am a little confused by the pricing: the 2LT choice includes the Preferred Equipment group, does it not? 2LT $76,898 plus another $9,900.00 is that what the list is saying? FE4 is $2,180.00 & Z51 is $5,900.00 - so, if you want the MRC & Z51 the cost is $8,080.00? Where is the cost for the convertible? Is that the $9,900.00 then? This car is really starting to add up - wow!!

HEY JCWP
I think yes your correct the 2LT convertible will be starting at 88K and with all the 2LT Standard Options.

I am looking to add to that and will be anywhere between the following below, depending on a few choices...as well the LTO codes I think are for things we can add later at the dealership....the following is what I am looking at but could trim it down a bit....and then there is the wonderful Taxman as well hahahahahah

OPTIONS TOTAL Seabring Orange $16,630
Blade Silver $15,135
Elkhart Blue $16,130

Cheers,

Kevin

Kevin, thanks. Where are you getting the numbers above for the different colors? Color with different options for the totals expressed? So, total cost without z51 & Fe4 would be about $104K?
Cheers :Cheers2: I came up with $98K with FE4 & Z51 - I guess I should email my dealer and ask for the total on my order now that the pricing has been published?

No! I thought you mentioned you did at one point or the plant in Oakville. Hey, when you get to be and old fart like me your memory does not always work - LOL.:Banghead:

Hahaha. Yes, I am a salesperson at a dealership. Not allowed talking about it much at this point in time.

I'm just here for the V8's.

(Hee Hee sorry Liz I had to Hee Hee:canada: ) I have lived here and In Dallas and San Francisco and yes while many things are cheaper when you work the average exchange rate into things, there are quite a few things we are loosing on yes... but there are also some things we are either close to, at par, or actually winning on :-) So Ya Canada on some things

This is from Slice June of this year...check it out its kind of surprising and these are just a few...also remember Magna International is in Aurora and is a big GM Supplier so maybe they are helping us out as this is a thing you get through the dealership (LPO) no duties no exchange Made in Canada :-) if something is actually made here :-) they do have like 30+ plants in Canada YAYYYYYYYY Magna

I thought this was kind of a cool read.....I took bits out of it there were a bunch more but these ones are pretty cool to see I thought.

To bad our C8s were not as close or better hahahahahahahh :Banghead: hahahahahahahahha

Rent
Rent for a city centre apartment in a Canadian city is an average of $1,167 per month for a one-bedroom and $1,885 for a three-bedroom. In the United States, similar apartments will cost you an average of $1,464 and $2,363, respectively.

When I was in San Francisco Rent was like $2500 to $3000 US a month for like a 800 sq. ft. place I am sure it has eclipsed that now. But again that San Francisco not Flint :-)

Hotel rooms
Using the average room rates given by Price of Travel for several cities in Canada and in the United States, we calculated that a hotel room in a major Canadian city costs on average $261 per night. For a major city in the States, your hotel room will cost $384 on average.

Some new cars
A Volkswagen Golf or equivalent will cost you an average of $23,000 in Canada, compared to $26,870 in the United States. A Toyota Corolla or equivalent is $21,603 on average while in the US it’s $24,902.

Cappuccino
According to Numbeo, the average cappuccino in Canada costs $3.89. In the United States a similar caffeine fix will set you back $4.84.

Movie tickets
Who would have thought that watching a movie in a Canadian theatre is cheaper than it is south of the border? A cinema seat for an international release in Canada costs on average $13.00 while in the United States it’s an average of $13.55. To see your favourite actors in real life, check out the places where the stars go when they’re in Toronto.

Oranges
Another surprise on our list is oranges. Even though we don't grow them here, a kilogram costs $3.73 in Canada and $4.83 in the US.

Apples
Apples are also cheaper in Canada. One kilogram will set you back $3.85. In the States you'd pay $5.29.

Potatoes
A kilogram of potatoes in Canada will set you back an average of $2.41. In the United States, your fries come at a higher cost, with an average price of $3.06 for a kilogram of potatoes.

Beef
A beef round (or equivalent back leg red meat) in Canada costs $13.53 per kilogram on average. Americans pay $14.17 for the same amount.

Cheers,

Kevin

I have the pricing list for every option for every trim saved on my computer. I felt like sharing it on here, but I didn't want to get on GM's bad side. These lists are for direct customers only, not the general public, as pricing is subject to change without notice.

Hi EJ,
you’re at a dealership, I have a question, what is the order split on the Coupe vs Convertible orders at your dealership? If the vert orders are increasing (not sure if they are), do you think it will be faster to get a coupe as the verts will be on constraint and they are not starting vert production until April. This may open up allocations due to customers electing to order the convertible. Your thoughts.?
